MST Capsule Retractors, Chang Modification
MicroSurgical Technology (MST)A modification to the original MST Capsule Retractors designed by David Chang, MD. These capsule retractors were designed to provide the broad point of contant on the capsule but were modified with a closed loop on the distal end to prevent entanglement with a CTRs. The shapes faciliates easier insertion and allows the posterior side of the retractor to sit parallel to the iris plane during retraction and not to pull toward the incision.
