The Model FP7 Flexible Plate features the same Ahmed Glaucoma Valve as the original Model S2. The main advantage of this valve is that it has a soft, flexible plate, making it easier to implant during the surgical procedure.

The model FP8 is the pediatric version of the Ahmed Glaucoma Valve silicone plate. It features the same, non-obstructive valve technology as the original Ahmed Glaucoma implant to control aqueous pressure, only fitted inside a smaller silicone plate for pediatric and small globes.

The model PC7 Ahmed Glaucoma Valve is used when it is necessary for insertions of the tube into the posterior chamber. The Ahmed silicone glaucoma implant is fitted with a pars plana clip that allows redirection of the tube without bending or kinking, so it can enter the eye at a 90° angle into the pars plana.

The model PC8, Ahmed Glaucoma Valve with Pars Plana Clip is used when it is necessary for insertion of the tube into the posterior chamber of a pediatric patient or patient with a small globe. The pars plana clip that allows for redirection of the tube without bending or kinking, so it can enter the eye at a 90° angle into the pars plana.

The model FX1 Ahmed Flexible Bi-Plate is used in situations where more surface area is needed than the original plate has. This unique design allows for the two plates to be implanted into two quadrants of the eye without having to pass under the rectus muscle.
